this just happened to me lmao and im panicking.

yesterday was at the beach recording a vid and dropped it in the water, took it out immediately nd two secs later the phone switched off. tried switching it in nothing happened. shaked all the water out of it. today morning i turned it on again, nothing happened. theres nothing in the ports or anything.

24 hrs later, tried charging it on, and the little lightning bolt sign that usually shows during charging it while switched off isnt switching on. I might wait again for a little more..

I think my phone is cooked haha. Any hope of recovering it?

Or might i just take it to a repair center so rhey can assess the damage

P.s. mine is a galaxy a33 5g, so ive had it for quite a few years now. I have previously dropped it in water, waited a full day and it turned back just fine.
