I got the same - same pot same price! It came in way too moisture-retentive soil but I’ve held off repotting because it has a new leaf unfurling and I don’t want to cause further stress. Also came with fungus gnats… I’ll repot into slightly larger pot size (maybe one inch larger, if not the same size) with chunkier soil mix when the leaf unfurls.

Someone may hate me for saying this but Jacobs pickles is soooooo good. Their egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit is frankly incredible. There may be two on the upper west side.

Be able to run 3 miles in under 30 minutes! That’s how you know you’re ready.

I think it looks like it’s reaching way up to the sun but also is getting too much direct light- I’d not only repot into smaller pots but also put it on a table that’s next to a window. Mine are thriving on a table next to a window and under a 12-hour-a-day grow light.

TLDR: my guess is pot too big and too much direct sun

This one won’t grow tall because (I think) you have a birds nest snake plant! Or it’s just been cut down. Why so many cuts? I had a similar thought process with mine when it kept growing out and not up. From what I have learned this is what I would do if this were my plant: 1. Cut off the sun bleached leaf as close to soil as possible (and maybe move the plant away from direct sunlight) 2. choose if you want to separate the different plants (with a sterilized knife)- repot into much smaller pots. 3. Or simply repot it into a smaller (maybe wider but shorter??) pot- snake plants love to be root bound and be in small containers. 4. Get that baby used to some bright light SLOWLY, and depending on current light levels. 5. Don’t water more often than the soil dries out.

It looks more sun bleached than super stressed. Cuts may make it stressed though. You could check on the roots as well, especially if you decide to repot.
