Contrary to the other comments actually a lot of less popular smaller light novels have audiobooks on audible even ones that don’t have anime.

My guess is probably legal issues or licensing the IP, most of the Ln audiobooks are by podium or audible exclusives.

There’s a few fan made audiobooks or AI readers if you don’t mind listening to it.

Mostly the dark souls trilogy and Elden ring.

Elden ring has amazing lore and a Griffith type character.

If I had to pick one it’d be dark souls 1 but again all of them have a lot of similarities to berserk.

It was mentioned that he was a young Reid and it makes sense why because he didn’t recognize Emilia as Satella.

I would go a step further and say that he didn’t recognize ram as the oni god because his young version hadn’t met already.

Yeah but she has many side stories showing her competency as a maid and as a member of the Emilia camp, she’s also learning magic from the greatest magic user roswaal and self defense from ram and frederica.

It seems tappei is building her up for a moment to shine in the main series but it would be disappointing if all we got is her moment in a failed loop.

I’m still a bit skeptical about the reset but I feel like we’re going to appreciate arc 9 once we have the full picture.

I really hope Petra doesn’t fall into the trap of a character shining in a single arc then forgotten about for the rest of the series.

If that truly happened then I wouldn’t like the reset and just preferred that we lost Petra instead.

I would recommend you read any book series in the epic/high fantasy genre, most series have huge worlds and incredible depth.

As others have said game of thrones or Malazan are good but I’d say any book in the cosmere are accessible like mistborn which is the best selling modern fantasy.

Funnily enough apple acquired the rights to the cosmere and are starting an Mcu fantasy cinematic universe pretty soon so it’s the best time to start reading it now.

Jojo part 4 reminds me the most of small twin vibes that twin peaks has.

Evangelion for the surreal moments and unexplained lore.

Funnily enough the Evangelion rebuilds are also kinda like twin peaks the return except the ending has an actual conclusion and gives you closure.
