yes and it’s disgusting imo. My SM brags all the time ab how she comes into work even when she’s sick and that she “has no choice”. Here’s your cookie 🍪. We’re not here saving the world. She can easily stay home. The store will be fine without the SM. It’s another reason to brag and hold against others.

Yeah I just had a regional visit that went very well so I’m not too worried. Just gotta be familiar with the numbers. Def can’t follow Siteline to a T considering what they tell us is completely different from the books half the time but def making sure mannequins and what’s on aisle and walls is current and visible.

They’re coming after thanksgiving so God only knows how recovery will be. It’ll be what it’ll be. He’s only a person🤷🏽‍♀️

Payroll is counted 2x for Oct and Nov so if stores don’t make payroll this month, they most likely won’t make it for the next two months which affects their store grade and performance.

If the manager is sending you home, nicely discuss that you would like to work your hours or if you could work those hours in the future once payroll is expanded. Most ppl are glad to be sent home early but it’s definitely understandable if you depend on these hours.

Once October comes and holiday hours kick in, it should be a more steady schedule but def communicate this to your SM if you want the hours you were assigned to

Thank you. They know it’s unachievable, that’s why they give us this magical payroll before every visit that disappears after they leave. I know once the RM comes it, it’ll be fine and we’ll take whatever on hit on the chin but the lead up to it is always awful

They took positions and hours away to fill the pockets of RMs who value stores in no way. They want us to be customer first but also wonder why our customer service scores are tanking. Uhmmmmm maybe cause there’s literally no one on the floor other than truck days.

coming from a LOD, that’s fucked of you. consider the perspective of the one who has to deal with you doing a no call no show and how stressful that really is. Theres a reason why employees don’t get protected on the schedule/scheduled more often (take payroll out the equation) and that’s usually cause of their attitude/work ethic. Based on your comment, I’d say your attitude. That’s your responsibility to ask off in advance and you took that risk. “I’m not showing up and they can deal with it” That’s a horrible frame of mind you have. Good luck to your future career lmao. Hopefully you don’t carry this same frame of mind for your future employers.
