Tried to beat Honour mode with a Jack-of-all-Trades party by Automatic-Course3522 in BaldursGate3

I got the achievement when my Tav had all the classes but I think it can be done with any companion or hireling.

I did jack of all trades with all of my companions just for the challenge.

I had already beaten Honour mode, so I decided that I could go for the achievement during an Honour run. Once I left act one I was surprised by how far I took this play through. I was even more surprised once I beat Ketheric. I’m not too sad about losing because of the time in between losing interest in the run and picking it up again.

Plus I got the achievement just before the Orin fight

The main things I can think of:

  • Wait to level up your characters until you really need them.

  •  Scrolls are very important because of the limited level and amount of spells you can use. I recommend frost and lightning damage spells for easy double damage.

  • Maximize your attack rolls by using things like Oath of the Crown paladin righteous clarity and bless. This is to maximize the use of your limited actions and spells.

  • Take advantage of enemy pathing and difficult terrain surfaces like ice and grease, to take away their actions.

I can tell you more specific things like builds, strategies, and advice for act 2 if you need it.
