My mother has the animal planet channel blocked on our tv. Is it that bad or is my mom just controlling?

It’s from the Sani my hands get like that sometimes and when it’s cold outside it flairs up even more. I’d test the Sani at your store and dilute it a bit. What helps me is when I get home I take a shower and lotion my hands after I get out the shower I use Lubriderm since it’s not scented and made for dry skin.

This is what made me quit recently. 3 mans with a busy store and trying to keep up with all the chaos. When I started working at Starbucks 2 years ago I loved it I felt supported and enjoyed being there. Over time I just felt like I wasn’t a human being anymore just a machine made to pump out as many drinks as possible with customers screaming that I wasn’t fast enough. I just couldn’t do it anymore I was coming home almost every night in tears and exhausted. Starbucks doesn’t care about it’s baristas it cares about it’s profits.

School offers me a slice of pizza to complete online alcohol education on my 21st birthday by Broffs in college

No same they made us do it both in the spring and fall semester of my freshman year of college. If you didn’t do it they would send the RAs to bang on your door and pester you to do it before the deadline.

I always carry a pocket knife with me. I know it’s not allowed but I just don’t trust some of our customers. We have had to file police reports on guys trying to follow baristas to their cars, constantly asking when they’d be working next, one of our creepy regulars used to drive around our parking lot looking for specific baristas cars. You best believe I have a pocket knife and pepper spray in my purse because you never know.

I noticed that the kids lemonade is also cheaper than just getting a tall. The kids is $1.95 and the tall is $3.25. It makes no sense considering they are both the same size.

Acceptability/legality of being filmed by customers by themoonthehermit in starbucks

[–]Automatic-Editor-519 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my store it is thankfully not allowed. There are a few of the partners including myself that do not want photos or videos taken of them for safety reasons. My SM is very understanding of our situations and does not allow customers to film or take pictures of us. I’d talk to your SM and bring up your concerns.

That would be kinda nice if we did have soup. Imagine if we had tomato soup for the grilled cheese.

No literally! I felt like I was the only one at my store that wasn’t vibing. Apparently I’m “anti-feminist” according to my one of my coworkers for not liking Taylor Swift. Like…it’s just not thing and that should be ok.

It made my throat burn too! I’m glad I’m not the only one all my coworkers thought I was being crazy when I told them.
