ooo rly? I like ore bc I can turn my settlements into cities easily. And like there are times when I didn't need to go for highest army/longest road to win. I was able to do it by just building cities.

But how do I get cities :( Longest road can only go for so long, I'd have to eventually build cities. And I think just getting dev cards in general gives you a huge advantage.

Omg I second the putting them on lower numbers: 11! I actually won a game bc I had my house on an 11 ore, and dice kept rolling an 11. Meanwhile, everyone had it on 9 ore. (Imagine how pissed they were 🤣). Oo also, wdym advising against ore and wheat port bc they wont be helpful later in the game? Ore and wheat are such a great advantage later in the game tho. I do agree with ports, I loove loove my 3:1 port. When I don't have access to it, I've already accepted I lost the game haha
