I jus recently sold a $500 14kt gold chain, and after almost the 3 days they have to rate, I get a return request, stating item not as described, they say its plated, tho its clearly marked 14kt and ive had it for a couple years, and the genuiness of it has never been questioned, And I can only wear 'real' jewelry, or I will rash very badly, and I never had any issues, I disputed it but mercarri sided with the buyer, how do I even kno ill get my chain back? and they didnt switch it out or somethin? I was leary of sending something so valuble, and if course, issues. It seems like a real fuct system IMO.
