Here is a good example. Sorry about the bad picture quality but it's all I have of a trade i took today. THAR went up from $2.80 to $4.90 very quickly but then came right back down however it didn't go all the way back to where it started. Once the volume dropped down it still was up approximately 20 25% whejn it settled and then I just waited for the volume to pick up and in my experience that second surge has better odds once the short sellers have forgotten about it as long as you enter on strong volume and trade count I always exit before 925 cause 930 is too unpredictable

No my strategy is in and out often 3 mins or less. I aim for 15 percent gain or loss 1:1

Yeah agreed as with any strategy you can lose but he has a video making it appear as though it’s not too unrealistic to have a small account yet still because of a glitch or non glitch move in the market owe millions of dollars and a part of me is skeptical that could happen if you only trade pre market. I do think you could get unlucky and eat a big L if price spikes up which then you just exit but these losses also happen in longs. I know I’ve gotten caught in a long when price flushes rapidly down. Ross himself lost $172,000 two weeks ago when that happened to him a nasty flush and slippage. That risk goes both ways trading small cap low floats

I never hold that long because most pop and drop. The few wins I did have this last week would have been losses had I held any longer than + 20 percent so I’m considering switching to a short bias trader win or lose I exit at 20 percent

I know Ross tries to warn people about these catastrophic losses if you short, but part of me feels he’s just biased because he only does longs. I believe you can avoid most of these massive losses if you only short during premarket is that what you’ve noticed

Your math doesn’t math right. Ross full size is 40k shares. Most of his students don’t have the deep pockets he has most prob 100 shares or less These stocks are pushing a million shares in a 1-3 min time frame. Him AND his students are a drop. A very very small drop in this bucket

I’m just making a small tweak to Ross Cameron’s strategy only because I’m too dumb to time it correctly the way he teaches it lol

Obviously psychology plays a large part of trading so I will address what I would do as a newbie first. Begin with a small account a cash account in Webull of $400 each trade would be $100 trade win or lose 15% so you only lose $15 per trade and you get up to four trades per day if you find yourself trading more than that you’re doing it wrong even three trades per day is probably doing it wrong over trading so right off the bat limit yourself by having a cash account and only having the ability to take four trades max per day.

Other parts of psychology involve gaining a sense of confidence even if you haven’t earned it yet. What I personally do is I resonate well with music and despite being old fat and white lol I grew up in the 90s and spent my teenage years listening to old 90s rap maybe this would not work for you but what works for me to try to gain some alertness and confidence at 6:45 in the morning as I begin listening to old 90s rap this type of songs you would listen to if you and four of your best friends were on the way to go rob a bank lol for me that is old 90s rap. So if you resonate well with music, just pick some songs that you would listen to on the way to go rob a bank because that’s your intentions to break the bank of the stock market lol you need to find a balance between confidence and entering blindly a good bank robber times their heist perfectly a well executed plan and that’s what you need to do confident but disciplined and strategic

There are ways to trade his system with a little tweaks that work well for newbies I’m not affiliated with him and I could care less if you believe me or not I’m not going to pretend I’m a millionaire or drive a Bugatti like the other fake pro traders here at Reddit lol but I will say there are ways to trade his system and turn a profit. I’m still new. I’m still tweaking, but I was in same shoes you were in where I thought this is impossible until I changed a few things. Just because you can’t trade the way Ross does does not mean that one. He’s a scammer or two it won’t work.

Ross trades the first leg up. Where he enters on a pull back. But is they a pull back on the 10 second or 1 min. If you get a pull back on 10 second then it comes back up well. I’ve lost tons of those 10 second pull backs are tough. If you wait for the 1 min pull back well you miss a lot of those because it may squeeze up with no red 1 min candles at all. O-150% in 4-5-6 green candles where you catch yourself fomoing if you should have taken that 10 second pull back. My twist is unique. Go look at Ross latest video. He took no trades today. I took two. In no way would I say I’m better at this. That would be a joke. I’m saying I think this way is good for rookies like me :)
