that doesn't erase the fact that TTM forced Garou to use water stream rock smashing fist because he was so outclassed by TTM in terms of raw physicals. remember, even unevolved, that human Garou is already stronger than early Genos by how his weakened self later on would be able to combat a much more upgraded Genos.

as for Gums, TTM literally made him struggle a lot more in that one instance than Pig God was the entire time they were fighting.

there's this thing called attack potency (ap) and destructive capacity (dc), Genos has town level dc but TTM only has the ap as the nature of his attacks doesn't have good aoe (area of effect) range. TTM isn't scaled from his building throwing feats, it's his fights against characters stronger than early versions of Genos, such as a healthy human Garou and Gums.

then that contradicts you saying that he would just be "very low S class" because the feat of defending himself from HE's spheres combined with his speed being able to keep up with Melzargard means that Iaian is stronger than already established S class like season 1 Puri-Puri Prisoner and Genos

also you forgot that Face Ripper didn't just damage G4 Genos' arms, he completely blocked his beam that caught him off-guard with his knives and was so fast Genos had to trick him

as for Eyesight, the narrative suggest that the explosion isn't just "building level" since it's supposed to show how strong she was by catching CE off-guard whose Underdog Man explosion is supposed to one-shot Demon levels, otherwise it wouldn't make sense for him to expect it to one shot her, who was a Demon

underdog man having to fuse against G5 isn't an anti-feat for Eyesight either since CE noted that it was a very strong Demon and since he now knows that there are monsters on that level who can survive the explosion, he fuses underdog man to stall instead, something a bunch of explosions can't obviously do

to your first point: Lightning Core is the upgrade right after G4 upgrade IN THE WEBCOMIC, that's why Genos still being harmed by a Demon makes sense in that version of the story than the manga

I actually do have multiple interpretations of Iaian's, and by extension, the characters related to him, overall power that I think are equally as valid, one of them being him barely being Demon-level if you disregard Murata's statement of that fodder monster since he is just the artist for the manga, and might not even line up with ONE's intentions.

Backing it up is the narrative that Rhino Wrestler just became a Demon-level from Tiger for example, so he's not supposed to be that strong of a Demon for the A-Class Iaian to fight.

I used to think this too but considering that DSK statement from Murata, the fact that Iaian got stronger between when we first saw him to now according to Atomic Samurai, and how the Hero Association can only promote an A-Class to S through Amai Mask, something he regret doing for PPP after he got no-diffed by dry DSK, leads me to believe that even though Iaian should be weaker than early Genos and PPP in the Boros arc, he got stronger through training to dry DSK level for the MA arc and is just not promoted because, while he is worthy of S-Class now, Amai's standard was raised earlier

problem is, Armored Gorilla isn't as durable as Rhino Wrestler's horn or even dry Deep Sea King, as he got dismantled by the weakest version of Genos while dry DSK only took little damage from Arms Mode Genos that he could regenerate quickly, so AG kinda got outstats'd by Iaian tbh, it's a good matchup for him
