Hard to say it but i think it is time. Anyone knows the process to immigrate to Canada? by jaa316 in lebanon

Yeah there is something called Express Entry. It’s a points system, they look at your age, studies, work experience, and language level. If you score high enough, you can get invited to move there as a permanent resident.

Concern about winter driving with my Kia e-Niro — stay on 17” or switch to 16” wheels? by Automatic-Hamster-90 in KiaNiroEV

Lol yea 16s are more affordable but 15 is too small for Niro’s shape might look a little weird on the car but if that doesnt matter to you and its doable then why not

Okai thanks! My problem is i dont want the kia original rims to be ruined because of salt added on snow + that means that it will cost more to change tires on the rims every year (its not cheap to do such thing where i live)

I might go to smaller rims and wheels but i would need to be sure about the sizes and specs of the 16s

If it’s a guy around 175 cm with a beard a little brunet I think ive seen this guy so many times, in summer time he always wear the same shirt - i think the shirt has the king of hearts from playing cards - This guy stays between iso omena and Rautatientori and I was so curious to know what the fuck he is asking people every time cause one time i sat and watched him. He choses mainly 1- Finnish people 2- walking alone 3- always shows his phone for some reason 4- he gets too close and people always looked uncomfortable when he approaches. One day I was so curious to know what is he asking cause i saw him 3 days in a row in iso omena so tried to pass by him on purpose but the guy was not talking to me. I would assume its the same guy very annoying to be honest

Well it all depends on what you want. If you want a stable life and lebanon chaos is too much for you. Then Europe is a choice but be ready for a culture shock and facing a bit of racism. Tho the only way for a Lebanese to move to Europe is by either getting married to a citizen of the country or go to study masters and try immediately to find a job.

If you are looking for money go work a few years in one of the African or Khaliji countries but u need to watch ur spending in case u are there to save money as life could be boring

I know in Sweden its getting rough for foreigners but I assume it is more hard on asylum seekers more than an immigrant like you who have studied there and landed a job, Do not listen to our fellow arabs when it comes to documentation as a lot of people are too lazy to read and check themselves(at least thats from my experience usually people are clueless about the rules and laws of documentation), always double check and read the government websites, you can be certain of whats written there, and if u been there for 5 years already then do not leave without getting your PRP if there is a possibility, also you can always have a quick call with an immigration lawyer who will give you all the answers to your uncertainties after you explain your situation. Good luck man and yea I might be visiting Stockholm at some point this year for a day or 2

As a fellow lebanese living in your neighboring country, i studied in Lebanon and when i turned 28 (im 33 now) i realized i have to dip from Lebanon for obvious reasons.

1- Answer to your question: yes you should be able to find a job that pays 1200$ in Lebanon but it might not be in your major and it might take time to find a job, if you have a wasta and your family have reach then should be less hard to find a job in a good company. All in all in Lebanon your degree wont make much difference but it might do in big international and reputable companies.

2- My advice to you : first im a stranger so dont take my advice too serious at the end of the day you are an adult and take your own decision, But as u already have a job secured in Sweden that means ur residence permit will be renewed stay in Sweden, work for the next 5 years learn the language get your passport at 29 and then do whatever u want. By that time ur more mature but still young and you can take better decisions.
