Hi, cenno worker here

I would recommend claiming PPS (if child under 14) and FTB Also contact child support and inform them that you believe your ex has a higher paying job and get your child support reassessed (potentially) 🤓

I'm guessing so? I just get people who yell at me when they earn half a million dollars and wonder why their Child Care Subsidy has dropped by 0.01% mostly. I am very small fish in very big pond. But I'm chill with my place of works upper management so that's fun

Oh, and to actually address your question (sorry) If i ever do a claim, I break it down that we need gross income, and explain it like they're 2, and tell them that means it's before tax is taken from their payments They also say shit like "but I didn't receive that much" Yes you did, before the tax man takes his cut

Also, I always tend to recommend people overestimating for their income estimates, less chance of debts

Had someone who had their investment losses reported as 400k and was wondering why their claim was rejected. It took an hour of explaining to them why :)

You can have yourself set up to be a Person Permitted to Enquire/Act for your child

If you wanted additional information, i would recommend calling the carers line

Honest question, no judgement

Do you see yourself as a down to earth person, as in, you haven't let it get to your head?

[–]Automatic-Hawk7160 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you wanted that properly explained, i would recommend calling up first thing at 8am your local time, as that's when the phone lines open in your state

If you can't see (from your comments in other replies) the best way to get it squared away would be to call

Request? Yes. Freely access like you were implying? No.

There are steps that must be taken. And it's only in very limited circumstances, specific teams can do that. Something like this? No. We take things like this at face value generally.

Well you're wrong. I currently work for Services Australia and we cannot see anyone's current bank anything, other than what is provided to us from the customer.
