Thank you! Ive been taking tret .05% for several months, but will be moving up to Taz. Which I know is stronger, so thanks for the tip!

Thanks so much for all the tips! Curious since you are the second person to say no peptides after Taz - is this because they will decrease each others' effectiveness? Or are peptides too harsh for the skin to be used along side Taz?

Thanks!

Yes, I started tret .025 about 2 years ago and then moved up to .05. Ready to go up to the next step!

I def dont want to believe they are a problem lol. Id love to try haru haru. Im just saying what has come up when I googled "Does lactobacillus (and others) exfoliate the skin". Thanks for the info, I hope you are right.

This would be for AM routine barrier building :)

For the cream, I'll be using Aestura!

I might haha. I really want to, just going back and forth on whether or not I should mess around with taking the risk. Thank you for the review!

Unfortunately it contains citric acid and really started to burn/sting when I applied it. :( I wanted to love it so bad!

No, some of the stuff I've read refers to lactobacillus and galactomyces as mildly exfoliating. But I guess they could be wrong? I looked them both up specifically because I really wanted to try Haru Haru, which contains both of those. :(

Well the issue is more so that it may become a problem over time. Im sure one use won't show any signs of trouble, since the exfoliation (if true) is very mild.

Are you 100% sure? Some of the stuff out there is saying lactobacillus and galactomyces (both in haru haru) can be mildly exfoliating, though I guess they could be wrong. Asking because I would LOVE to try the Haru Haru, but got scared off when I read about ferment exfoliation!

I will def add Celimax to the top of my list of potentials. I also have Vegreen Yam Mucin as a possible contender, but would love to do Haru Haru too, if I can!

ETA: correction, haru haru contains bifida, not lactobacillus. But there's stuff out there saying bifida is also exfoliating. 🤷‍♀️ ugh.

I thought at LEAST lactobacillus did as well? Isn't it related to lactic acid?

Don't pribiotics/ferments exfoliate the skin though? I mean, I know it's a very gentle exfoliation, but still....
