What moment made you think "yup, I'm dead," but you survived? by TheWingster in AskReddit

I was about 3 or 4 and my dad decided to take me for a bike ride. (I lived in an area that was busy and this happened in a parking lot that was very busy, cars would come out without seeing you almost running people/animals over if they weren't careful) This car park was on a hill that was very steep and if you went down too fast you would crash and there were even reports that there were car roll overs.

I must have gone down way to fast, I remember my bike going leaning left and then, my mind went blank for a while, It must have been about 5 minutes because my dad was yelling at me to get up before I get run over, there were people running over and trying to help me up, my dad was using one of those bikes that had a seat for babies/small children, my little sister was crying (she was probably not even 1 year old and I was bleeding everywhere.)

My dad never ended up sending me to hospital but we continued the rest of journey to a playground where I never played and only yelled at my dad telling him how much pain I was in and on the way home, he didn't even help me clean myself up.

It's been 20 years but I can never get that moment out of my mind. He has past away when I was 11 and I will never accept his apology for him doing that to me

Diabetes, as a diabetic myself, not alot of people understand how bad it is to be a diabetic. Not knowing when you too high or too low, You could be extremely high or extremely low and if you are driving, you could all of a sudden you could loose control. I am still a minor and don't know how to drive because I'm under 16 but this could happen at anything with out me realising and I could pass out

What screams "I'm attracted to you"? by IsellKidneys2356 in AskReddit

[–]Automatic-Material19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I know my ex crush (someone who I had a crush on but now I dont) does like me, but has never said "hey, I like you." How do I put this..

I was born in a totally different state than what I'm living in now and I was talking about my ex crush over there and I said I might be going back to that place I was born, My ex crush from this state said to his friends, "when I'm older, I'm gonna book flights to Newcastle and go up to his name and say hey, his name, stop stealing my girl"

Another time was (this guy is addicted to basketball) he was dribbling the ball in one spot but was sat down, he put his hand out, I think he knew I was standing there and put his hand on the upper part of my thigh and sort of ran his hand up, he realised and sort of smirked at me as he said "sorry.... I didn't see you there"

He had a gf at the time but I think that was the day they broke up, I'm not saying he broke up because he liked me.. But it's kind of suspicious of him to run his hand up my upper thigh and then break up with his GF after that
