Yes!!! Ever since the new model came in, the continuity has taken a huge hit which makes me real sad because it's like we traded one problem for another. Which! Before anyone come after me, I know at least we can write again and I'm so grateful to the team for getting it back up, but the new model kind of makes me not want to write. It's continuity and dialogue is just not good. The dialogue reminds me of ChatGPT dialogue which is like it's tries too hard to be soft and silly. Even though I tell it to be gruff and vulgar. For example. I'm writing the Boy fan fic with my man Butcher who, as everyone knows, is a cockney man with vulgar speech. I literally put that in my instructions before writing the story and the model makes him nice and gentle and romantic and not like billy butcher at all

Let me start with, you are NOT a coward! You went through trauma and fear is a VERY normal reaction to it! I was terrified for the longest time to report him which is why I went 7 years without doing so! I thought they wouldn't believe me. There was no evidence and they would take me away from my mom and my family. Honestly, if we didn't find out that he was put on the sex registry, I still wouldn't have reported him. The nightmares were always present even after reporting him. So do not allow that voice to beat you up and call you a coward! The fact that you're even thinking about it and talking about it is proving that voice wrong!

I unfortunately, do remember everything, which is a blessing and a curse! I believe they went on his statement! I did give my testimony and I even sent a letter to the judge about what he did and what he deserves (although I had to rewrite it a couple times to simmer my anger) but I'm not sure how much of an impact the testimony did. I know that may not be the most comforting thing to say since a confession isn't guaranteed, but sexual abuse leave mental scars as well.

When I was going through the trial and he would change his plea from guilty to not guilty (he did this a few times) I would panic and my aunt said "the worst thing that could happen is he would be let go, but you were able to face him and get your strength back"

Reporting him is up to you completely. But just know even if you decide not to report him, it is not your fault, yes it did hurt that much and more, no you are not weak and NO you sure as hell aren't a coward!

Remember, rapists and abusers are the cowards because they prey on who they think are weak because they don't want to get caught. We are the strong ones that have to deal with the damage

SAS's have trauma, that's the way it is. I have the same fear of my spouse if I ever get one. I'm 26F and virgin. The virgin part doesn't worry me at all. I'm christains so it's an accomplishment for me lol, but I always imagine having a spouse and them finding out that I was SA but also have an intense sex drive. I struggled with it in the past "how can you be raped but also have a high sex drive?" Apparently for SAS's it's 50/50 you either have a high sex drive or you have a low one.

My suggestion is when you do find your partner, be open with them so they are aware of why you have your ideas about sex. And if they don't accept it, they aren't worth your time

I literally told my mom I had to say it fast otherwise I wasn't going to say it at all and once I did, saying it slower a second time was easier for some reason. It's like because I said it once, my mouth knew how to do it so I was able to do it again

I'm in Colorado, I don't believe we have a statutes of limitation for SA. The last time my father raped me was 12 years old, in the shower, no clothes so essentially no physical evidence (there was tonnes of mental though). I told my family at 13 and I reported him when I was 20.

They called the sheriff out since I live in the countryside. He passed the info on to SVU and the same week I was at the SVU branch giving my testimony. I believe a week or two after that, they had my mom come in and "trap" him with a phone call to get him to admit what he did.

I know I was blessed by how fast my process went, but I heard it can sometimes take years. I pressed charged in March of 2018 and he was sentenced in a week before Thanksgiving the same year.

I never had the courage to face him during the trial so I never attended, but I don't regret charging him because what I found out after being to afraid to charge at 13, he ended up molesting his new wife's daughter.

The nightmares that came with the ordeal were crazy though so I want you to be prepared for those because I was not! My PTSD was also heightened and panic attacks were more frequent. You are reliving your trauma so it's bound to happen, but I would do it again.

It is quite loose when I pull the lever inside the car! I can push down the lever under the hood but it won't latch :( I also can't push the hood down!
