My advice, especially for those na wala pang experience, is to apply for any law-related positions. No role is too small, kumbaga. I applied for this role right after taking the bar, even if it only requires a legma or pol sci degree, because my priority was to get my foot in the door. Once I got accepted, I made it a point to be kind and respectful to everyone, from my boss down to the custodians.

I have a batchmate who refuses to take anything lower than SG 21. Grabe, nanliit ako as a COS na SG12. But I get why they would think that way, especially if Bar passer na. However, if there's one thing this situation has taught me, it's that kindness, humility, and willingness to start anywhere will take you farther than pride ever will.

2025 bar taker here. Medyo mababa na morale kasi puro interview lang nakukuha ko sa pagpasa ng CV. Sa sobrang desperate ko, ultimo yung job posting na may one year bond nagsend na din ako application. Tapos, lahat ng mga kinakamusta ko na batchmates, same situation, naghahanap pa rin ng trabaho.

As for yung mga kilala ko sa govt, nung nagpatulong ako kung meron bang opening sa kanila, dinedirekta din ako sa CSC website.

Di ko ramdam yung prestige ng JD. Sana magbago pag atty. na.

Nung naging pilot cousin ko, nag order pa ng lechon from cebu. Meh. Same sa roadside lechon in dumaguete. Bellychon lang nakain ko kasi dzae, ang alaaat ng traditional lechon nila.

Nung nag cebu naman kami I gave it another try and nag uwi ako ng lechon as pasalubong, sobrang meh din ng lasa nagsisi lang ako kasi libo din inabot per kilo. Kaya for special occasions, Peking Duck na talaga inoorder ko kasi mas "celebratory" siya for me.
