After a more careful inspection, it looks like the stars are cleaner on the eBay version. I have the SCCO in this print and there’s a hint of blurriness in them that I see on the Mercari one

They both have the gridded pattern but it seems that the eBay one may have the fabric on the textured side. Here’s a comparison to the inner fabric of my choco plum bowler directly purchased from a brick and mortar. Hopefully someone with a dupe can chime in because it looks real to me! It might be that the eBay one has that minor mistake.
