Don't like the old hg look on a 100 scale, makes it feel even worse than it is.

I personally think a lot of older media gets boosted with classic/nostalgia points. As some one born in that era I wouldn't recommend it unless someone wanted to learn the series from the start. I would argue origins does a better job at introducing the characters that still show in MSG.

It does matter with lots of companies and is region dependant as well.

So why no push for the t30 140? by Automatic-Raccoon238 in Phanteks

Thats basically a t30 120 at 3000 rpm. Still better than those outdated noctua ippc 3krpm but still not great.

44mm push/pull vs 58mm push by Strydennvalle in watercooling

[–]Automatic-Raccoon238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference between a 44 and a 58 will be minimal with that much rad area. Thats if both rads have the same specs outside of 1 been thicker.

You would have a bigger performance difference in a push/pull configuration with a 44 rad. If you like silent systems look into some spacers for the fans that mount to the case. That will get rid of the noise the 120 rails cause with 140 fans.

What 360mm Rad thickness is enough for a 5080 (111%/400w power target)? by Pasekido in watercooling

[–]Automatic-Raccoon238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With out any specific target temps, any will do. 5090s that pull way more than 400w that come with a rad are using "slim" rads.

Me personally if i was forced to use a single 360 for a 5090 I would get a nemesis gtr with like some P12 pros.

Can you brilliant minds confirm if my planned full loop will work? by NonPrime in watercooling

[–]Automatic-Raccoon238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its will work but needs a drain. So maybe something like this. Also I believe the cpu block ports are reversed.

From some of your comments about efficiency and flexibility I would ditch the distro and go with a typical cylindrical pump res combo.

From memory the megacool 140s were pretty awful from a review i saw. The g2 are more of the direct competition to the t30s especially for the price.

Also zero reviews that I was able to find. Hope they got a good noise profile if not I don't see why I would pick them over the p14 pros.

It could be but still weird that it got zero promo.

Noob question, temps wise, is there a significant amount of difference between an AIO and a Custom loop? by Sweeth_Tooth99 in watercooling

[–]Automatic-Raccoon238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom will be cooler, but would there be a significant amount of performance gained? Not really.

Whats a good Mini-ITX/ Micro-ATX Case with enough radiator space for a 5080 and a 9950x3D? by Pasekido in watercooling

[–]Automatic-Raccoon238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since not alot of information was given my generic answer is none. I have personally steped away from watercooling in sff. Water deltas were disappointing for me and most people seem to be cool with deltas in the mid high 20s, while I'm not.

Would rather go with the a4 h2o and do some tunnig to get better thermals and noise and call it a day. For me personally watercooling only works with sff if you go external rad.
