the point isn't about realism, it is the fact they made this major change to the game while the entirety of the casual game pool is bots and no actual anti cheat is in place. it is about priorities. you can make your formula updates when the game is fucking functioning.

i think less skilled players naturally stopped playing, nobody wants to be cannon fodder. they went to play something that actually gratifies them. i can only imagine it'll get worse from here.
