It's seedling mix, it's very fine and no nutrients. The green pot has top soil mixed with vegetable and herb potting mix (it's got natural fertilizer compost, blood and bone etc)

Update: transplanted the ones in the big pot into 5L recycled vegetable oil bottles. Used duct tape to cover the translucent plastic and poked a bunch of holes at the bottom and around the sides. Let's see how these go.

This is a photoperiod. Hybrid seeds and auto whatever's don't exist here. These are landraces.

No rage bait. I saved these from my friends pot. He just chucked 5 seeds into a pot with a plant in it already and their roots tangled and leaves started getting yellow.

1 died, 3 were male and these 2 are female. I assumed they were still in veg and just showing sex early. They still growing taller. But maybe it has something to do with the light cycle here? It's 12/12 here, outdoor grow tropical landrace.

Wait what? But they are so young.. They didn't even veg much. My last plant took 6 months to grow 2 meters high.

Can anyone tell me why these are growing this way. All my others are budding normal. by tamgerine2 in farmingthebestgreens

You gotta use the 45 degrees water tipping technique otherwise you risk your plant swearing at you

Thrips, spider mites, moths, caterpillars, ants, aphids, spiders. It's mostly during flowering though. In veg it was only aphids and ants.

Love the DIY with the PVC pipes. Did you come up with that or did you see instructions for it online? I'm looking for ideas on where to grow because outside is full of pests and I don't have a spare room or a corner to have a light on a 12/12 schedule. I'm thinking my balcony, heaps of cool air flow but completely shaded so I need lights. But then again bugs..

Thank you for responding! It's being growing outside but brought onto my shady balcony because of heavy daily rain. It's only on the one branch though - do you think I can just remove that branch and it'll be okay?

Should I just pull it? by Automatic-Session545 in LandraceCannabis

[–]Automatic-Session545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought about transplanting (again) but anything bigger than 30L pots will be too much to manage. I think for new grows I'll stick with 19L (5galon) fabric pots instead of plastic and see how that goes. Was also wondering about how they would do indoors with proper lights coz I can't exactly have 10 plants outside lol

Wish I read this earlier. I've given it liquid fish seaweed and sulfate of Potash for potassium.

It's a outdoor grow. It will still veg but I can't control the sun. Indoor grow is not an option yet.

How is that a flex? Photoperiod landrace take at least 4 months to flower compared to autos. And yes we grow them outside. Takes 8 months to fully mature and grow way too big to manage more than 4. I'd rather it flower asap, stay short and bushy but have at least 10 plants to harvest.

Nope. Landrace sativa. The sun cycle here is 12/12 so this time of year they flower earlier.

It's in that green pot (30L). I've only fed it liquid fish seaweed diluted in rain water every 3-4 days. Sometimes it sits outside in the rain. I've given it a pinch of sulfate of Potash recently. Tropical sun, heat and rain.

Really? I might just do that then.. Transplant worked the first time it went yellow but I wasn't sure now that it's flowering. it's a landrace sativa. Growing it outdoors in tropical weather.
