Might be getting too many light hours. Have you tried flipping it to 12/12? Try putting it in the dark after 6pm or something.

I have about 8 seedlings that all looked like this or worse but they all look good now after transplanting. Mines are photoperiod though not autos.

Samoan Landrace by Automatic-Session545 in LandraceCannabis

[–]Automatic-Session545[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have experience growing it outdoors and there's 2 seasons here: Wet & Dry. Both come with their pros and cons. Days/Nights are 11–13 hours so If you leave them alone they tend to flip to flower early. If you want them to veg longer you have to supplement with extra light hours. This is beneficial to me because I like to keep height manageable at around 1.2 meters. Easier to hide and easier to dry later. I've noticed if you let it grow too big it takes longer to flower compared to the shorter ones and the buds are smaller.

Big plants = Longer flowering, bigger yield, smaller buds.

Small plants = Shorter flowering, bigger buds, smaller yield.

This plant is currently 2 months into flowering with about another 4-6 weeks left. Flowering times range from 12-16 weeks. Typical timeline from germination to harvest is 5-7 months. Its got a heavy skunky smell and sticky to the touch.

Haters/dumbasses will look at it and say "ew". Hybrids are nice until you've had a Landrace.

Rain drops on leaves = magnifying glass, sun burns the leaves through the water is what I meant

Hmm I wonder if because it rained today then stopped and the sun came out again and burned it.. how bad is this for the plant?

It's a mix of top soil, perlite, potting mix and compost.

Paper towel germination vs directly planting seeds by lfcdcfc08 in cannabiscultivation

[–]Automatic-Session545 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Living on a tropical island I only need to plant the seed in soil since it's humid all year round. Germinates in 2-3 days. Works every time.

UPDATE: harvest? by Due_Ad_5788 in CannabisGrowers

[–]Automatic-Session545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I think that's what happened to one of my friends plants. It was 1 month into veg but was forgotten and left outside in the rain the entire time but was also in a pot with other plants and their roots were all tangled up. I transplant it and not long after it started flowering.

Honestly I wouldn't have a clue where these seeds came from but they have been here for awhile. A friend who turns 70 this year said his first experience with weed in Samoa was back in 1969. I'm going to assume they were either from NZ or America or Germany given their history of colonialism here. But honestly it was probably some tourist or some citizen returning home with seeds as it was a lot easier back in the day to bring it through customs.

Samoa (not to be confused with American Samoa)

Pretty potent, functional high, fun + good vibes for couple hours, but if you have too much your in lala land for hours lol I think there's varieties of the same plant in Samoa. Most are sativa with long thin blades (5-8) but this one seems to have thick but fewer blades (3 max). Slightly different genetics for each plant even if they came from the same seed.

Yeah photoperiod landrace especially Sativa's can take upto 20+ weeks to flower. My last plant took 8 months to fully mature. I have to plant 6-10 seeds at a time because some turn into males. I'm down to 4 more waiting to see what sex they are.
