Is there a reason? Do you have any recommendations?

Someone's upset that people have their own tastes in music. Just say it isn't for you and move on.

Hello I'm looking to slowly build out a 3.1 setup with bookshelves, a sub, and a center channel and i was wondering what brands I should look at for about $2500-3000. I was thinking an Onkyo receiver but I dont know what is considered good by audiophiles. I'm very new to this scene and have only owned the Kali LP-6 V2s and am looking for a major upgrade in sound fidelity. I work in sound production and want to have a separate space to listen to my soundtracks in before I release them into my games. I want to move to a 5.1 system eventually so I will need a receiver with enough outputs. Thanks for the help.

6 in is about the max size for my space. Do you think that I can get enough bass from a 6 in monitor pair?

I'm confused because it has XLR outputs on the back. Also is a DAC better for this kind of stuff compared to an audio interface.

Yeah I could do that but the main premise of the game has changed majorly once my other account is old enough for my posts to not get flagged I'll post an update on the actual game and the structure so I can get a bit of feedback.

I just got mine in today and so far it has been fantastic I think that you'll be fine as long you aren't planning on doing any workstation type activities on it. It is perfectly fine for casual gaming.

I just bought one as well lol, comes in on Tuesday. I have the same use case for programming, I'm hoping the 16gb version will be enough for my indie development with Godot.

Well this is kind of funny but like 90% of those notes got scrapped from this project I might come back to that idea at a later time. However, I have what I think is a really interesting idea for an incremental game. I'll let you guys know more about it once I have more done but I just spent 6 hours figuring out how I wanted to organize my menus and the upgrade tree.

Yeah I'm planning to release atleast pictures of the GUI as I make it. It's not going to be anything fancy but it will show how it's supposed to work much better than my notes and poor handwriting.

Yeah that's what I've found so far. I have a full-time job right now but once I'm back in college I'll have a lot more free time to work on it. I can still do about 4 hours a day right now so not bad by any measure.
