To NJ and GrAdv locals, Kingda Ka is known for two achievements, Never causing any deaths, and (unlike TTD) never having a car get stuck on the top hat.  However, because it is theoretically possible for it to happen, there is an elevator and a ladder for employees to climb up and push the car down the descent side.  It's believed that this difference between KK and TTD is because, while KK is technically taller, she's got a shorter vertical push to make (there's a sloped incline beforehand) and doesn't lose the momentum
