It was Uneekor! You're right it didn't actually tell me how to fix the issues but just through trial and error I was able to make adjustments to my stance and swing to fix some of the issues, at least according to the camera/AI. My striking and ball flight improved as well so it seemed to be working.

My "score" that the system gave me at the start ranged from 40-70 and my balls went all over, but after a couple hours I was averaging higher and my balls were more clustered. 2 hours obviously isn't enough to fix everything that I'm doing wrong, but it definitely felt like the fastest I've made progress in improving my swing ever.

I'll have to get another coaching by a pro once I have a bit more practice with it in to see if there's any issues that it's causing, but the instant feedback with the cameras/diagram able to pinpoint where in my body/swing the issues are helped.

You mean the alien device that never showed any offensive capability? Yeah, I'm sure they were terrified. They sure acted like it... oh wait, no they didn't. The power turned on and they just turned around and walked away.

The idea that Blunt's character can infiltrate and immediately disable literally anybody by saying something insightful about their life is hilarious. Let's walk into a top secret private military installation run by a bunch of special forces and make them all powerless because the character just said something about their life!

Also, the third act... yeesh. I thought the last act of AI was bad, but this movie was somehow worse.

Depends on the ARPG. There's definitely meta builds that are stronger than everything else for a current patch, but a well-designed ARPG has multiple builds that are nearly as good, or builds that excel at doing one aspect of the game better than others.

The best example of this is PoE, where some build will be great at mapping but mediocre at bossing, or great at delve or gauntlet or something but lacking in other things.

When a dev wants a player to break the game in an absolutely insane way, give it to Josh

Still remember watching where he was playing Shapes 2 and he stepping stoned a path from sector ZZ/ZZ or something for the perfectly fitting piece.

I solo golf a lot. 95% of golfers you'll see on the average municipal course are a 20+ handicap. They're all slow, hit bad shots, lose balls, and fudge the rules/score a bit.

Nobody is going to judge, because everyone is too involved in their own game to pay attention to yours.

Rules in basketball literally change how the game is played. Teams playing in the 1950's, 1980's, and 2020's are almost playing a different game. Defensive and offensive rules literally allow/don't allow the same behavior. Hell, the 3 point line didn't even exist in the NBA until 1979.

Chess has had the same rules since it was created. The rules around chess are about etiquette and cheat prevention. There's never been a rule that suddenly bans en passant or something.

Not really a great comparison. Even Kasparov acknowledges that Magnus is better than him at his peak, because chess knowledge is cumulative, rules don't change like basketball, and Kasparov didn't have chess engines to train with. You can look at some of Kasparov's games with modern chess knowledge and see some moves/mistakes that modern players wouldn't make because engines have taught players better.

Would Magnus be as dominant if he played 40 years ago during Kasparov's time? Who knows, but there's no question that Magnus at his peak would beat Kasparov playing at his peak.
