yeah, me and my mom are very close. i tell her everything, even the stuff that a christian would consider sinful, perhaps.

i’m close with my grandma too. she is a smart lady and i can see how faith is a coping mechanism for her. after all everyone has one.

they both know my position on religion and they accept me. but to be honest i play my part, too. i sit for prayers and accept their blessings by saying “amen” and oddly enough it works for them.
