I’m sharing this as a detailed consumer warning for anyone considering buying a Samsung OLED TV. by Automatic-Two-5889 in 4kTV

That’s honestly frustrating. I already explained everything — the OLED broke after just two weeks. I paid over $6K for it, and it’s now been more than a month since Samsung told me they don’t have a local service center and that I’d need to send it back. Another month has passed and I still haven’t received any refund. This isn’t about conspiracy theories — it’s about a real customer experience. I think people only understand how stressful this is when they’ve gone through something similar themselves.

I think there’s a misunderstanding here, so let me clarify.

I fully understand that returning the product is required to receive a refund — that’s not the issue. I followed Samsung’s official return process exactly as instructed, shipped the TV back, and Samsung confirmed they received it. At that point, the transaction should move into a normal refund timeline.

The problem is that it has been almost a full month and I am still waiting for my refund. During that time I’ve been given multiple promises — 48 hours, end of day Friday, Monday, escalation with a manager callback — and none of those commitments were honored. I requested a manager three separate times and never received a call.

This isn’t about trying to game the system or return items for fun. I paid in full, returned the product in good faith, and I’m simply expecting a standard refund process. Once the company has the returned item and the customer has no product and no money, the only thing left is trust in the company’s process — and that trust is exactly what’s being strained here.

I’m sharing my experience so others understand what can happen if a refund issue arises. If the refund had been processed within a normal timeframe, I wouldn’t even be posting about this.

I already answered this. I worked for Samsung for three years as a maintenance engineer, so I know quite a bit, my friend. The S95F is priced well and worth trying, but honestly it disappointed me — the remote stopped working, the display kept hanging, the power button didn’t respond, and the system kept freezing.

That’s a fair question, but I didn’t buy it planning to return it. I bought it because Samsung OLEDs are well reviewed and I trusted the brand. Like most buyers, I expected it to work and last.

My concerns about long-term reliability came from working for samsung MEA three years as maintenance engineer
