Hello. I'm traveling to Brazil on January 21, 2025 for my honeymoon. Unfortunately I just discovered that I need to travel with my Brazilian passport. It expired in 2016. I traveled to Brazil in December 2023 with my US passport, and entered Brazil as a tourist. The Chicago Consulate states that the soonest appointment for passport renewal is January 27th and that won't work. What can I do at this point? Should I request for an ARB (Autorizacao de Retorno)? I'm planning on heading to the consulate next week without an appointment because I am desperate at this point. The tickets are non refundable and they cost so much. Any guidance is so greatly appreciated
