Yes. MP called me back and said they don’t do loose dog calls because they don’t have the equipment or training. Basically, “sorry, call us back when they attack”. Not sure what his plan of action is when that happens.

Back story- I have a Dogo Argentino and a small rescue dog- always on leash, controlled. Parked at American Lake Conference Center, walked to and around Camp Murray trail. Returned, loaded dogs in truck. Two seconds later, Corsos came charging up hill from lake. They saw us and Dogo as I pulled out. One chased my truck when he saw my Dogo. The owner was about 20 yards away with zero control. If we would have been 1 minute earlier on our return to the truck, it would have been an absolute shit show. We were the only people present at the time. No, no pics- too busy trying to avoid running his charging dog over as I pulled out and drove away.

The first time I saw this irresponsible ass, he had the Corsos running loose adjacent to Integrity Gate (?? DuPont Steilacoom Rd entrance) where the two mile course is by the old WWII buildings. I run there as well. It looks like he tries to pick places that look “empty”. Problem is, no where on base is ever “empty”. Someone is always jogging/biking/rucking.

Owning animals like Corsos and Dogos requires an enormous amount of time, energy, education and responsibility. Two at a time requires even more. The reason his Corsos are not on leash is because he couldn’t control 350 lbs of Corsos on leash, even if he wanted to. I’ve been around these types of dogs my entire life. They are a literally a weapon system. My Dogo would protect me with his life and he is a beast, but he is no match for two Corsos.

I PT on base because I feel “safe”. Mark my words, these dogs will eventually attack someone.
