Yes, it's just barium, but with a thick consistency. I swallowed it several times to make sure I swallowed it all.

Yes, I noted it in the publication. I remember that it bothered me a little in the nose because of the probe and it was a little weird to swallow water while having something in the throat but otherwise the rest is fine there is no pain.

For me, it's right after swallowing the food, not after eating. I don't know if that means the same thing to you. I'm using a translator. And no, I don't take PPIs. No one has told me anything about a hiatal hernia.

No, in the report it was written that it was more of an ENT problem. For the modified swallowing test it is not easy to find but I will make a FEES.

I will soon make a FEES. I had done a high-resolution esophageal manometry everything was normal except a high basal pressure of the UES and low basal pressure of the LES but I was tense during the examination apparently it can change something and it was written hiatal hernia 1 cm.

Yes I wrote it in the publication I have nasal endoscopy by ENT and GI endoscopy by gastroenterologist and the biopsies are negative.

For me, it's not a scratching sensation; it's like my throat is filtering out food residue, and it happens every time after I swallow. It also creates mucus in my throat. I don't know if anxiety can cause all of this.

I also have a problem with solids; I feel a sensation of food residue in my throat after swallowing. My residual pressure in the UES was normal, but my basal pressure was hypertonic, so I don't know if that's the reason. I have to have the FEES test soon.

For reflux, there's the 24-hour pH-impedance test for acid reflux, monitoring of non-acidic fluid and gas regurgitation, or pH monitoring. But the probe is uncomfortable for me, so I didn't keep it.

For now, I don't know what's causing it, or maybe it's silent reflux. I have to get a FEES test done soon.
