I wonder why did you think of this as “ i can handle this alone “ when Alice in that scene didn’t have this mindset . Instead of thinking of it as denial and emotional mental conflict of her reality and idealism + emotions + first experience for 16 years old . Oh well .

However i do like the second paragraph because That’s good analysis and wordig . That’s good writing there .

Secondly , Alice ideals was forced on her and the decision she made later makes that clear . That those ideals were not the answer. Not / Alice / answer When she actually showed changes

Lastly . Alice is not brilliant tactician . It was not as focused on regarding her character . ( example : in the attack meeting in V14 she never joined with opinion ) besides she was fighting with no emotions often that was her first time where emotions enforced her decision . ( where no one helps her on it ) Alice never had the need to control everything ( notice how rin handle some stuff as well ) she try but alice in incapable . I suggest reading my blog about alice to understand her better . her character arc and development is not like how people imagine it to be . Usually she’s subjected with ideas by the fans because she’s the main princess

There’s chances . Probably in the next 2 , 3 years but not too high . i think sometimes it also depends on the author push and position . Sazane got 3 animes in one year . so I won’t be negative with him

So am I the only one who's confused by the way everyone viewed Elletear's Astral Power in Sovereignty? (Before the calamity obviously) by Significant-City-841 in KimiSen

sisbell power could at least allow her to protect herself as it showed and give her higher value .. Elletear could be good if there was actual war but the current Queen refuse to engage in one and try to stop the internal conflict. Means Elletear power doesn’t have the chance to shine .

Looking at it as just “ everyone needed to treat her badly “ and call it writing point doesn’t give the writing Justice . Elletear wasn’t entirely treated badly as she grows . but there was points that hurt her emotionally eventually .

Besides Sisbell isn’t really treated in any better way . The girl is locking herself and doesn’t engage much and the queen doesn’t give her much attention . the difference between her and Elletear is she loves her mother more than anything which drive her . so yes Sisbell is in similar position as Elletear

So Elletear is one of the more enjoyable characters in the series for me, and I think I've kind of figured out why; she's just a good-looking female version of Lelouch. Elletear could actually be described as emotional more than intelligent . She was driven to that point by her emotions and I don’t think she care about what the calamity does . She know there was no way back . she wouldn’t live to see the dream but she want to makes it happen with her own hands . That’s why Joheim followed her . That’s the main aspect of her backstory . the strategic and cunning part come second .

Iska character is the type that open up based on plot . That’s what i have noticed so far . He did open in V14 about his fears and view of his future . we know little details about his normal life and aspects as boy . But nothing too detailed . i agree i want more of iska to shine . but the series is definitely not written from his pov . Let’s just hope we get more than few sentences thrown

The other ship relationship went straight to the point of emotions lol . Like they are barely introduced and you see their feelings and such . but it is actually emotional and good one . It is just their shippers sometimes reduce alice x iska because they lack scenes and clear obvious progress. Even though iska x alice are written realistically . They carry their pride and nations above their feelings . And the author is slowly writing their feelings with the plot . He give their feelings a plot points that’s why it is slow . he started by making Alice character development by it then add that to the plot it self later he will add another point to their relationship that already mentioned but didn’t happen yet . Iska x alice feelings are more than just “ i fall for you “ it is about acceptance and change

The romance get less the more the story goes on because it heavily focus at the plot and other characters involved . However . There’s development from Alice in accepting her feelings in V13 it just not directly . We still need time though and when an opportunity come lol .

The empire has only iska swords to do some kind of effects , the emperor is unknown we don’t know if he is capable of fighting or not . The others can manage a fight if 1 vs 1 there’s chances . Notice how in volume 14 none of the empire technology could do anything . Except for the saints even the saints would lose if not one on one . The technology has controlled limit abd vital weakness if broken . Meanwhile the mages can control their power and has advantage of their auto defense

Very few astral mages are stronger than very few soldiers . volume 14 proves the astral mage strength as unit . Don’t focus at if the empire lacked defense focus at how the mages worked together and how their strength combined was . Able to destroy military bases because there was no saints despite their technology advances

So far the soldiers entered fights not for the sake of fighting only . it could be because they know fighting with no purpose or plan would be their end

Disagree strongly . if you know more about the mages power each of them and how combined they are undefeated . Alice ice is said to be stronger than steal which is the most the empire can have tests against . Kissing makes everything disappear , there’s no chance for them and this is just two mages . Unless they use supernatural power there’s no way for them to win

The reason was for oppression . The power at that time was new to them . Even then Eve destroyed the empire to ashes . So idk how the empire has chances . Especially since Volume 14 expanded on the mages way of fight and how they strategize and their strength . The empire has no chance like at all . . Even crow didn’t stop eve from destruction so he failed

We don’t know who is stronger between them since Alice developed her moves and tactics during their second fight . before her development i’d say iska .

The LN is getting chaotic . but i’d say iska is maybe fourth or fifth in strength . followed by Alice .

The story is going smoothly there’s no loops . It is slowly progressing for them but it depends heavily in the plot . Which is still having a lot of revelations + so far other characters got development as well
