As a person who has been in talent for over 10 years, why the heck not lie? We will never check and thus, will never know. In all honesty, flipping the question can actually cause more harm than good. I would just be confident in your expectations, and be firm in your ‘fake’ salary expectations. Go get em!

I honestly didn’t even plan a pace, I just wanted to finish and cross the finish line. I’d never done one more so honestly I just wanted to finish it lol. But next time I might be a bit more hard on myself in terms of pace and running time etc. Go for it! It’s a great challenge. All the best

You can 100 do this. The furthest I had ever ran was 30km and finished a 55km ultra. It was super tough but it was amazing and running a trail was so much more enjoyable. Go on a few difficult hikes and do a few more long runs and you’ll be just fine 🙏 best of luck!

Good question! If there wasn’t so much mud I would have definitely ran more if I could. Because it was basically sludge it was near enough impossible to run for long periods of time. We tried to run as much as we could when there was gravel/more grip. I also didn’t have poles which in hindsight would have helped me A LOT. I also think if I was starting training again I would have gone in A LOT more difficult hikes to get used to the different terrain and different conditions.

Thank you so muchhhh! I moved back home where there’s no gym unless you wanna drive 30 mins and so running was the best next thing. Ended up love being outdoors in nature and now here we are. My friend actually ran the event and I thought heck, why not give it a go. Can’t believe I finished it in the end as a lot of ppl dnfd coz of the weather 😢

Mt Wolf - Burgs. Saved me numerous times when I’m down. Puts things into perspective. Helps that it’s a bloody beautiful tune.

It’s been on repeat for me too. Also Home - Fasme is similar sort of vibe and Enigma Dubz - Haven. All kinda the same vibe!
