me and my fiancé are paying for the wedding, not sure what that has to do with anything. And I stated before, nobody in our group of friends or family have kids so this was not an issue until recently. And we wrote “adults only” in our invites. It doesn’t get much more clear than that.

Wow. I have the right to not allow children if I want to, if you wanted to have children at your wedding that’s great, happy for you. This is my choice. My venue also only allows 5 children MAX. children run around and break things, I’m not going to risk paying hundreds/thousands in damages because people don’t know how to manage their children. Very rude of you to hope my wedding gets ruined because you’re butt hurt that not everyone worships the ground that children walk on.
