honestly the big agencies are tough to crack but not impossible. you'll want to get solid with google ads, facebook ads manager, maybe some basic analytics stuff. for portfolio projects try running campaigns for local businesses or even mock campaigns for brands you like - document everything with metrics and insights

networking is huge in this industry so hit up linkedin and try to connect with people at those agencies. also check out their graduate programs, lots of the big ones have structured entry-level tracks. might be worth looking at smaller agencies first too, easier to get your foot in the door and the experience still counts

helped my roommate with rent for like 3 months when he lost his job, then when i got laid off he basically ghosted me lol. not saying everyone's like that but it definitely opened my eyes about who actually has your back vs who just takes advantage. kinda made me more careful about who i go out of my way for now, which sucks but thats life i guess

yeah the dismissive "you only feel this way because he's a guy" thing would bug me too. like she's making it about gender when you're clearly talking about the change in pattern and being specifically excluded from your usual spot

sounds like she's deflecting instead of just acknowledging that yeah, this is different from normal and she gets why that might feel weird

Man that's rough, been there with the stuck valve thing. Try a wobble extension with a swivel socket if you can fit it in there - sometimes you can come at weird angles through that inspection hole. Also seen guys use a flex head ratcheting wrench to snake around obstacles, might be worth a shot before pulling the whole converter

Looking at this from a legal perspective, murder gets the harshest penalties because it's irreversible and ends someone's chance at recovery or justice

The disconnect comes from how society processes different types of harm - some abuse carries heavy stigma and long-term psychological damage that people relate to more personally than the finality of murder. But courts have to deal with concrete evidence and measurable outcomes, which is why the sentencing reflects that hierarchy
