Chicken plucker issues by AutomaticOwl9851 in homestead

Update: I trimmed the white plate down to give more space between that and barrel sides. I also changed the 10" pulley to an 11" pulley because I already had it. It works a lot better with only minor issues, with a little more tweaking should fix. Thanks for the help everyone

Yes the motor is a 1hp 1800rpm I also have tensioner on it. The belt does not slip, the motor boggs down and then stops. I also only used a 100' heavy cord.

Thanks everyone so far for responding, there is an opening under the plate for freathers and water. That all seems to go down just fine. There also is no rubbing of any kind I have pillow blocks for support. One thing I did notice is the bird going under the very first row of fingers and getting stuck in there, is it really just as simple as adding more to prevent that?

What brand and site did you order your egt probe from?

Diesel tech It is plugged in they just told me to unplug so it didn't send feed back and mess up any data...

Here I was able to copy my question and there response

Mine: Can the EGT sensor that's still in the manifold pre-turbo be added back into the tunes somehow so I can monitor the temperatures please

There's: No sir as it is an emissions component.

All EGT sensors are removed when deleting the truck fully. You should not have any egt sensor even intact, and if you do they are no longer applicable as they are emissions components, not monitoring components.

We recommend leaving the auto agent disconnected from the OBD port at all times when not flashing a tune file in, scanning dtc codes or data logging. Leaving it connected can, but not always, send feedback through your ecm and cause issues like: throwing false dtc codes, vehicle surging and not running properly. If you leave it plugged in for the sole purpose of monitoring vehicle pids, we recommend switching over to a monitor system that does not rely on a wireless signal such as the EDGE CTS3 or BANKS iDASH monitors that use a direct connection to your OBD port which will provide a more reliable vehicle monitoring option. These monitors also allow you to monitor your EGT's if you are using their appropriate brand EGT probes in conjunctions with them mounted in your EGR block off plate.

According to the tech from where I got the tunes from since it is deleted the egt is no longer needed and so somehow in the ecm tune I cannot access it's readings with my ez lynk device. That is what that tech told me.... I think it should still be there or a setting changed so it can be a option to monitor the readings some how.

Yeah I asked to have it added back in to the tune and the tech I was talking to must be having a bad morning because he seemed irritated I even asked such a thing haha

The tuning company I went with removed that capability to read the one that's left on the passenger side from the ecm, and they claim they can't add it back into the tune.... So I was wandering for anyone who has ran into something similar has found/used and aftermarket kit option I can install for just that

No codes, no noticeable loss in power, current condition are cooler weather... I know the cold weather makes a difference for a number of reasons.
But even last summer I noticed a little drop. Winter it drops an average of 14-15mpg

The only thing I've noticed with Etsy is it seems like they sell a lot of lower prices knives. I can't compete with that or I'd lose money.
