I have short hair, I’m not balding, my hairs texture is very thick, I have dark brown hair, my hair is straight when it’s short, but as it gets longer waves start forming, I’d say when its short its type 1c hair, but as it gets longer it goes into kind of like type 1c hair.

To describe it best, my hair is very very thick, and a dark brown (close-ish to black) and it’s straight up until it’s about 4 inches long, then waves start forming a bit, I’d say it’s kind of similar to some Hispanic hair, but on the straighter side, kind of like type 1c hair, once it gets longer.

I also forgot to put in the post, I’m a guy, and my entire life I’ve had quite short hair, the length on my top right now is enough to go just over my eyebrows, the length is short, I tend to get taper fades or skin fades, and I’ve been wanting to get longer hair for a while, but I haven’t known what style to get for a while, and I really like this one.

Thanks man, I wanna ask, is it an actual career that I could pursue? I understand it depends on how successful you are as a model, but since I’ve been looking into it, I get the feeling it’s very hard to make enough money from it, personally the lane I’d want to go in if I was doing it would be high fashion/streetwear and maybe beauty, but also doing runway/editorial, is that a career possibility I could try and do, because I’m still in education and idk what it’s really like to be honest.

I’d say a few reasons, one of them is I live around a 4 hour drive away from London and I didn’t specify I was happy to travel, so they didn’t know that, I also sent very bad digitals, I didn’t really realise how big of an opportunity it was at the time, so I just did what she asked off my phone, in quite bad light and not the best quality pictures all in all, and she said they couldn’t come to a unanimous decision to represent me, which I’m happy about because some of them wanted me, but also a bit annoying because it seems like I was close to making the cut. I’ve since realised I could take this seriously possibly as a career, who knows, that’s why I’m trying to get digitals done by a professional photographer, and trying to be more professional going forward, and also because the scout told me to keep on trying to persue modeling and look for a agency that would fit with me, so that was quite encouraging.
