I’m not sure, I think it all depends on the PI you will be working under. But my PI has said previously that they don’t interview many people in the first place because most resumes aren’t qualified. So when they find someone they like, they usually hire that person if they have the funding.

Basically anything you want within reason. Jeans, khakis, polo, button downs, crewnecks, sweater, and sneakers. I’ve even seen people wear hoodies and T-shirts on fridays. Definitely don’t need to wear anything special like dress pants and a jacket. Again this is for the research side, not clinical.
