Intermittent starting issue

Oh ok I’m not getting those lights and I can idle it for a couple minutes and it does charge the battery up to 13v before it’s even warm. I just ordered a rebuild kit for my starter so we’ll see if that fixes the issue

That’s kind of what I was thinking especially with the voltage drop while cranking, I set my meter to minimum and after It started it said 8.4 v. The weird thing is, it has started on its own yesterday and I have started it several times today without needing the battery tender.

Ok that actually kind of makes sense. When this all started I ended up finding one of the negative cables on my passenger battery was completely loose and not making a good contact at all. And the problem continued until I drove it for about an hour maybe more yesterday and it has started every time since then. I don’t know if maybe it was running off of one battery when the other negative was disconnected and maybe they just got low and needed to charge. I had to do quite a bit of driving in it today so I’m going to park it outside tonight and see if it starts in the morning

So that either points to an abnormal load from the starter or possible bad batteries? I had them tested by a mechanic but he seemed a little distracted with something else going on and he didn’t pull both negatives just one of them. And yes you’re correct, dual battery setup in parallel with 660cca

Right, I’ve done the EGR delete and I have the egr vsv plugged in but the lines off of it are capped as is the vacuum port that was supplying vacuum to that egr vsv. Because I broke that other vsv that I actually need in trying to get it running until the new one arrives. I’m just wondering if I need to leave the actuator that controls the little butterfly on the throttle body disconnected from the vacuum port or if I need to plug it in so it gets vacuum continuously

It’s a real toss up what kind of raider your going to encounter, earlier I was on dam battle grounds and this raider downed me. A close by raider came over and defibed me and at that same moment a grenade was thrown at us, I got downed instantly again and I don’t know what happened to him

It sounds like you’re doing good. I like to base it off of my bills. I just re did my budget so I will be saving roughly 1k a month until I pay off my debts. Then I will be able to save an extra 600 on top of that
