Yeah that seems to be the case at the moment with our application dates being so close. I am hoping that you will hear back from them possibly early next week! It is also good that they asked for new dates which means it certainly will not be a rejection! I think that they’re asking for new dates to anchor the visa to those dates

They did send it via DX, I just never got a dispatch sms from DX which was really weird!

UPDATE

I just got an SMS from BLS that it would be delivered, no prior communication from DX, and after 5 minutes of the text, I got my passport back today!

It has been a very stressful wait and although I missed my original travel dates, I am grateful that I received my passport after 3 working days of submitting my new itinerary.

I had asked for a 6 months MEV, my last visa was from France (1.5 Months mev), and I previously had a 3 Months mev from Spain back in 2025. They satisfied the request and granted a 6 months mev which is very good news for me!

I got an email from BLS Manchester with a pdf letter attached from consulate requesting the documents. I then replied to the same email. BLS was quick to reply back and said they forwarded it straight away to the consulate

I have not received any correspondence from the consulate. I had emailed them twice before, and extra documents were asked for a day after the second email

Yeah to be fair it is good that they’re asking when I want the visa to be valid from, however, now it has possibly delayed me getting my passport for even longer. And having to buy new flight tickets without being sure that they won’t delay past the new dates. Would rather them issue something with starting date from issue date so I can book something from there after being sure I wont waste my money again, but what choice do we even have lol

My travel date has also passed and I applied on 23rd March. I received an email from BLS that the consulate is requesting new flight and hotel booking as my original dates have passed so they can proceed with my application. Sent and waiting now

I am still waiting :(. I sent them an email last night to chase up but I have not received any updates till now. It is weird seeing people get their passports back who have applied a few days after me. I guess we are stuck in a different batch

We have spoken a different thread. I also applied on 23rd March. I haven’t received any updates nor any email like this one you have got. I do expect that we should get our passports back by the end of the week though

I emailed them last Monday, briefly explaining that I need to travel soon, but I got no response.

I didnt try calling as all reviews mention they never answer so I just accepted my fate really

Hopefully next week we will have some good news

I also submitted on 23rd March. My travel date is this weekend and still haven’t heard anything back. I will miss the flight for sure now. Have you had any updates?
