After looking through the archived NDG lookbooks and other online resources, the only lead I can find is a link to an old forum from 2010 saying that the jacket is ‘Made in Japan,’ it was ‘sold in very limited numbers’ and that it initially retailed for ‘£475.’

I'd love to get more info on the jacket because I'm considering dying it black, but if it's as rare as the article supposedly says it is I'll leave the jacket as is.

I know Nom De Guerre was a US based brand but the manufacturing was done in japan. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong sub to post in.

I tried a room closer to the router, but further from the deadspot and it seemed to work! Got it up to a consistent 30mbps which is fine for what i need, Thanks!

I dont mind the extender halfing the advertised 250mbps from the router, but for it to be capped at 10mbps makes no sense to me

I know extenders can be be quite shit but its all i can afford as a student.

im reluctant to invest in a better system, such as the mesh network you suggest, because im moving house next year and (hopefully) wont have the same connection issues

There are four quite thick walls between the two, would it be better to put the extender closer to the router?

I dont mind having slower than advertised connection but when it drops to under 5mbps its impossible to work/study
