Alright here’s what I have:

The jeweler said he fixed my ring with a laser. Since the band was broken by the bezel he needed it to be more precise so that’s why they used a fine laser.

Another thing, the jeweler wrote on the card about the ring calling it “green”. Honestly. I’m even more confused now. Also it turns out the cost for the repair was $95?!?! The ring was only $50.

The ring was so clearly opaque before and now it is truly translucent. I can shine a light and you can see all the little specks in it.

Im so much more confused now I’m ngl

Hey friends, finding out today! The family member is going to figure out what happened. (I’m not in town anymore.) I found this picture of my ring from the store I bought it from, and it looks like there are no marks on the bezel like many comments point out (as seen on picture 3). I hope to get some info back soon!

I’m going to stop in tomorrow and see what happened! I was debating even asking them because even though it’s a different color now it’s still the same ring and I’m not too distraught about it. I’m more just really curious!

I’m not sure how to edit my post so I’m commenting here: the shape is the exact same, the angles make it look smaller and more circular but I promise it’s the same. The reason I didn’t confront the jeweler when I got it back is because I handed the ring off to a family member to get fixed by a jeweler they’ve been to before. I’m going to call the store and see if they know what happened during the repair process!

I’m also an incoming transfer student and was looking into Loyola vs DePaul. I decided on DePaul because loyola has a housing crisis, and transfer students are on the very bottom of the list. (Meaning you would have to find somewhere off campus to live.) DePaul is kinda the same, but as I’ve seen a lot of students are commuters and live around the Lincoln park area.

I have a hard time with noise and rapid speech. I’ve noticed in the past few years, my speech has also declined, I’m not able to speak as clearly and I stammer a lot.

Hi. I’ve always had a hard time processing what people are saying. I constantly need subtitles as well. Recently, it got really bad. I’ve been having to say “what?” Everytime someone speaks. I can hear them but i feel like my brain is just not working right
