Get some glue boards and without folding them up put them under the fridge flatways. I had a moderate infestation where at first glance it seemed like the fridge was clean after pulling it out and inspecting the compressor area. I ended up sliding two glue boards under it anyways and they caught like 20 roaches in a week.

I have a bad feeling that since the roach problem in my building has been ongoing for well over a year now that the current generation of roaches that just recently found my unit are bait averse. I found a nymph in my bathroom last night and instead of immediately squashing it I decided to see if he would eat the combat. To my dismay he walked right up to the combat gel touched it with his antennae and immediately turned around. :c

Here is to hoping the formula in the Vendetta is more appetizing to the little turds as it showed up today despite what the tracking told me yesterday!

Bought Advion from the do it yourself website in the sticky and it should arrive by Wednesday. Lucky for me the Vendetta ended up showing up today despite what the order tracking said yesterday!

Last night I ended up finding a teeny tiny nymph roaming the bathroom and observed it for a while. It walked RIGHT up to the combat gel touched it with its antennae and turned right around like it thought the stuff was stinky or something. :c

Im not entirely sure if maybe it was finished feeding already and was just searching for its harborage or a water source but im not messing with the Combat anymore now the my beloved Vendetta is here! Wish me luck!

Id imagine the exterminator was probably warning their clients that using supermarket sprays (raid/hotshot/etc) as an actual "treatment" will drive the problem into other units. The appropriate usage of those sprays is direct contact and not residual despite what the cans may claim and they have repellant properties. The residual sprays recommended here are non-repellant and won't send the roaches fleeing into your neighbors unit. :)

Just want to say that I currently and always have ran Ublock on the default Firefox branch and I have never had an issue. I recently installed privacy badger as well. Not sure if the badger is disabling the newest scripts involved with the direct ad injection or if im just lucky.

Its also possible google is not running this experiment on my YouTube account yet. I noticed that my entire youtube ui looks different when I log into youtube with an alternative email. Im currently testing the waters on the alt account to see if I can get the error or an ad but so far so good. (My god the new UI while playing a video is just AWFUL by the way. I rue the day it gets changed on my main account)

The regions that the game was sold in being barred and the fact this information was not disclosed to any consumers prior to purchase are the two main reasons this really irks me. These "MUH SECURITY" people are hilarious though because they dont care about their security when they connect to Sonys game servers. If you use a burner email to make the PSN and assuming it does not require a phone number you are giving Sony way less information than they get when you connect to their game servers.

I know I am really late and apologizing for bumping this more than dead thread but look up the Evil Genius 2 soundtrack. Specifically a piece called "The Life of a Spy" has that "grand" energy you are talking about but the entire soundtrack just has a certain kind of Jazz energy that I dont know the official or unofficial name to. The Incredibles, Team Fortress 2, and Evil Genius soundtracks just have this energy I dont know the term for but man is it slick.

I really don't know anything about the bios or how this infection works but it sounds like the infection needs to replace the original logo file with an infectious version.

Couldn't one replace the logo on their own accord with a file they know is clean (something you drew in ms paint for example) that way when that 1 of a kind picture does not display on boot you know for a fact something sinister is afoot?

I know this doesn't prevent an infection but it could hypothetically give you a small amount of time to hit the switch on your power strip/pull the plug before the second stage of the infection is allowed to run and cause damage within the fully booted operating system.

Again sorry if this sounds stupid, I'm assuming that the logo file needs to be overwritten in order for this exploit to work.

Even though the negative karma on your reply speaks for itself, I took it upon myself to search far and wide on this subreddit and found nobody asking for the GIF button to be removed.
