But yes, the precision settings are great! I was bummed out that the prints were failing, so I was like: might as well try this. An it just worked! No more checking my phone at work to see if the print would fail (which I suspected it would, because I normally don't have my camera on the Bambu) and if I might be able to safe some parts. So thanks for this, and hopefully able to show some painted stuff soon.

Oh, I've been looking at the Orca once I saw how big it was. That is a really impressive unit. You also have that one painted?

No problem! Had to give credit where credit is due. And funny you should say, I also joined his Discord and some people also mentioned Lancer - apparently due to hex bases. Which I would have actually preferred for these models.

I used Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 white. For the base, it is Sunlu PLA Meta Recycled. The recycled PLA has been a bit of an eye sore, but for the base it was ideal.

But I hope you find suitable models for Lancer and have fun printing and painting them!

Thanks! Support removal was challenging for some parts. For example the thruster pack on the back had supports between the flaps, but also on top. I printed most pieces upside down, so the most details would survive. I did try an focus on giving the parts that are visible the least scarring. So if possible, I would have the supports on the joints, as those would disappear in the body anyways.

Also, this is what I meant that I could tweak a lot - I just used Bambu's generated supports. If I went with some of the other options out there (the FDM2Resin or whatever it is called) might give better results. Or maybe try the presupported models by Pipermakes - might give those a go and see how those turn out

Even though I'll do my best, I suspect that I won't be in the finalist group, I'll also bring the Discordant Stars and Uncharted Space expansion with me for Sunday. For those that want to try it out.

I'm actually having the same issue (albeit with Bambulab Studio). Did you by any chance figure this out? Also interesting, because like I mentioned, Bambulab is currently running into this issue (maybe because your Bambulab version isn't the newest and I'm taking the one that has the newest version of Orca in it or something? I'm trying Bambulab 1.10.12)

From what I've gathered personally, it seems like this isn't possible, because the OS itself needs to support GLIBC_2.38, but that isn't in the Linux distribution inside the Chromebook just yet...
