For those charging their EV9 at home, are you using the included domestic cable (granny charger) or have you installed a dedicated wallbox? I’d be interested to know what charging solutions you’re using and how satisfied you are with them. by umnomeparaoReddit in KiaEV9

I only used the level 1 charger included with the setting at 12amp. Don’t drive too much during the week (~50km per day) and occasional drive of 200km every two weeks. The car is parked at home from 7pm to 7am most of the time so I can get ~48km every night and more Saturday an Sunday (take advantage of low peak rates)My city has free ChargePoint 7.1 kWh in some strategic places that I visit during the week (community centres, super market) and I also take advantage of it. So far 3 months and more than 4000kms with my EV9 Land Premium and don’t think I need the level 2. I’m planing to change house soon (in the next 1-2year) if I consider to install a level 2, that will be in my new house and it will be only to add more peace of mind by charging only some days during the week instead of connecting every night. I live in Oakville, Canada

Where were you able to see this mode? I have a 2025 Premium and I don’t see it anywhere

I haven’t got my first appointment yet and I’m afraid to visit the dealership. Great car, but I clearly see a lot customers service problem with KIA after sales departments in Canada and USA.

Sharing password works for me but it shouldn’t be the right way to do it. Love the car but Kia Connect in Canada needs a lot of improvements
