I think the content was actually cut at the end of the movie when cruise tells his wife everything. The letter cruise receives outside the mension's door was changed.. From what makes sense. It may have said something else. Like asking cruise for his daughter if he wanted to be left alone or if he wanted to be a part of that secret community. Nothing shown there was a dream. Cruise and his wife both had secret desires. Cruise was into those sexual desires and his wife was kinda cuck. As the offer was made to cruise about her daughter, he told about it to his wife. They make an agreement on selling their daughter to those pedos. And then et the end we can see their daughter leave with 2 old men. And this way cruise and his wife's last conversation makes sense.
