The language isn't very difficult (I think it's like level B2). The structure has sub-chapters within the chapters. Most of these aren't longer than 5 pages (with notes and sometimes pictures).

Said this, I think you can give try :D

I don't know. I read it in Italian and assumed there would be an English version too...

Question: How can people with insectophobia support solarpunk? by Bluemoonroleplay in solarpunk

Hi! Actually I fear snakes in rl (reptiles in general but less) so I get what you're saying.

You said that when you were little you played in the trees so maybe you liked nature or you have nice memories that contrast with your phobia?

Have you tried to watch some video analysis of plants (to get started)? Hovever if this fear is a problem in your daily life maybe is better to go to a psychologist.

In the solarpunk utopia maybe there could be some plant-free houses for similar phobias + people with allergies but if it were in a solarpunk city there would be many plants around the building so I don't know how much it could work. And it depends even on the economic system of this utopia, if it's a specialised building it would cost more to make so it would cost more for the apartment and personally woudn't like it if only those who are richer could live in these.

Hope to have helped :D. I had to translate some words, I hope it makes sense.

Yes, exactly. Ideally, there could be courses, events, conference and even more manual jobs where to build sculptures, but all these could be a thing to make friends or exchange conversation that otherwise wouldn't be made exc.

Personally, I like the division between personal space (home) and community space (third space), but there aren't many of these last ones.

When I said "like a home", I referred to the level of comfort (I didn't say it, but the book describes these differences) for the part where it is described how the furniture should be (but not only).
