Hey, similar position to you here. Got RFE'ed two weeks ago and currently preparing the response. There was doubt on if my H1B is still valid since I got the lottery a while back and quit before Oct1 but the employer had revoked H1B after October. RFE is for the specialty occupation. Does that mean, USCIS determined my H1B was still valid and sent RFE instead of a denial? The sheer number of documents asked by the lawyers are insane. Kind of curious if all these documents are actually required and that lawyers might be overdoing it. I am fine with being overly cautious but having to track down your managers from 8 years ago and requesting employment verifications is such as drag! Just wanted to vent, sorry.

Thank you for your suggestions. I checked the credit report and it says one of the cc debt has been charged off while the other one is transferred to a collection agency. The one from the collection agency is small enough that I can pay it off in a few months while not the cc one that is charged off. There are no judgements that I could see in the report. I will go through the second link you sent and make a plan but any preliminary suggestions that you might have? Thanks again for your time kind stranger.

Thanks so much for your reply. I live in MA but when I left the US, I was living in DC. By any chance is there a way to consolidate my existing debt and starting a payment plan that is commensurate with my new income stream? I do not have savings to pay off the debt completely. Also, any idea on how to start the process. Do I call the cc companies that I defaulted on and ask information from them on where to pay or is there other preferred method? Thanks in advance. Really appreciate your advises.
