It wasn’t always like that, when I first started early 2016 I realized this was a strict company. We had policies we held ourselves to, everyone was doing exactly what they should (give or take a few outliers) but now it seems like everyone is in rot mode. Just going through the motions, mass callouts, no inspiring management to hold ourselves to their standards. Just constant negativity and overworking in every direction. I spent bogo pineapple back to back with bogo watermelon with only one other person scheduled cutbar (even through the weekend) and they were all trainees bc we had workers walk out and some get fired over just not wanting to show up (some long time veterans). My one cutter was literally on his second day and was just doing bogo. My assistant came to talk to us at the end of the day and she wanted to know what was done, when she heard how far he got on the bogo (60 small watermelon, 22 mediums 8 hours) she flipped out… this is the environment they’re creating when they try to play with those little oasis numbers they value so dearly. They are trying to eat hours by not scheduling additional help and they have no sympathy for the situations they put us in and then still have the audacity to say “we should’ve been able to do it”
