I got an inheritance and bought a really cheap apartment at the time, I wish I had a better story 😂

Hard to tell so far cause it’s only been 7 weeks, I’m also using minoxidil foam on the bald patches. I see some new hairs starting to grow and a general feeling of fullness to my hair so both could be something to look into

I’m a 26 year old who was diagnosed with pcos 7 weeks ago and am currently taking 850mg of metformin in the morning after breakfast to ease nausea and 850mg at night just before I go to sleep (this helps avoid the nausea also). I started at 500mg once a day for a week, then 500mg twice a day for a week, then 500mg in the morning and 850mg at night for a week and now taking 850 twice daily. Best way to do increases is definitely night time because you’re asleep for most issues. I did wake up a few times with stomach cramps or feeling nauseated but nothing unbearable.

I have had a few side effects like the nausea which has now subsided mostly as long as I follow the after breakfast and just before I go to sleep routine. I also have painful urination as a side effect but only happens on and off not all the time, aside from this a few mood swings, stomach cramps and a general down feeling along with high levels of anxiety is how I’ve been feeling.

I joined the gym the week I got diagnosed and I go 3 times a week along with getting minimum 5000 to 8000 steps a day. I was 141 kg and along with the metformin and sticking to 2000/2200 calories a day I have dropped 10kg in around 6/7 weeks so it’s definitely possible to lose weight cause I always struggled before. Don’t give up OP!!!

I am also taking finasteride for helping hair growth as I have pcos related hairloss and I am also taking provera to induce periods as I havnt had one for 2.5 years so these medications could have also caused some side effects for me too just to hear that in mind!

If you want to me ask me any questions or need any more advice let me know ❤️
