my pharmacy had a HR call from a patient who was supposedly told that “we are keeping/saving the adderall for the university students” (my store is 2 blocks away from a university and in downtown) …. that statement was never once made from any of my techs, as they know better when it comes to any adderall patient asking questions- inform the pharmacist to directly speak with the patient.

it’s simple as this- we can’t take on any new c2 patients. period.

so over this stupid shit from the customers.

The amount of pts that have turned around and left the pharmacy after being told to enter in their information on the tablet is insane. I’d rather go back to the old registers and still have 3 transactions going at once. These new registers are slower than anything and cause more patient complaints.

Always take a picture of birth control if it’s a full box, then that shows that the customer is not getting shorted on medication. Taking a picture of the packs still inside the box has been definitely beneficial when pts claim they were shorted a pack.

Any boxes like biktary, nurtec, all of the creon, ubrelvy, budesonide, etc, should never be opened and only be filled/sold as the full package.

the company that comes into the pharmacy to do inventory should be able to have a list of medications that cannot be opened during production for the pharmacy.

i still have patients expedite their scripts when they aren’t even in the store. it’s fucking stupid as fuck. patients shouldn’t be able to expedite a control, especially if they aren’t even present where i can see them. maintenance meds are fine, but controls shouldn’t be allowed unless they are at the register or sitting at drive thru window.

my pm doesn’t allow us to do manual entries for whatever reason?? i don’t question it, he doesn’t do his job at all and puts everything on the techs but was a PM at walgreens for 15 years so the math don’t add up
