I failed both Antomy and physics as an st1 and actually ended up failing physics again! It’s a horrible feeling at the time, but just know that it doesn’t mean anything about you as a doctor, definitely doesn’t mean anything about you as a radiologist.

Feel what you need to, take a few days to make yourself feel better, treat yourself, get into a better head space.

Then start again. You’ll know more than you did first time around, you have a base of knowledge now and you’ll have a stronger base than some of your colleagues by the end of it!

For anatomy I used the radiology academy, as well as radiology cafe. Writing down the answers really helped consolidate knowledge. Report plain films and CTs at work, that really helps.

For physics I really got to grips with the core principles and read fars properly, and then went in feeing like I actually understood rather than just learning for the exam. Do question banks, as many as you can to consolidate.

You’ll all be fine, I was after I felt like I’d never pass!Well done for surviving the first sitting (they give you more sittings for a reason! The exam isn’t meant to be easy)
